Our client had a flood in their office and I went on-site to run cables to all the client computers and confirm that all the computers are working. I had to test each wall jack to confirm that it was getting a signal and then run cables to all the desks. I also had to run power cables to each desk. I also made sure that the cables were nicely managed so as not to be in the way for the employees. The client also wanted new desks set up for walk in employees. I had to trace the wall jack back to the patch panel in the network closet, then plug the port on the patch panel into the switch. I also had to enable the port on the switch to allow a connection for the desktop.
